Shurfat Real Estate Development respects the privacy of the people who visit this site and of its customers, and is committed to protecting the personal data that reaches it here. This policy sets out what we collect, why we collect it, where it is held, who it is shared with, and the rights the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Personal Data Protection Law gives you over it.
This policy covers this website only. It does not cover any third-party site or application you may reach from a link published here.
Who is responsible for your data
The party responsible for processing your personal data is Shurfat Real Estate Development, based in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. For anything concerning your privacy, the unified number is 920026466.
What we collect
We collect personal data only when you provide it, or when running the site requires it:
- What you send in the contact or callback form: your name, mobile number, email if you enter one, city, the text of your message, and the project you are asking about.
- What accompanies the request automatically: your browsing language, the address of the page you sent it from, and campaign details if you arrived from an advertisement.
- Technical data for security: IP address and browser type, used to limit repeated and abusive submissions — not to track you.
- When you request a callback: a verification code sent to your mobile. We store an encrypted fingerprint of the code and never the code itself, for the short period until it expires.
At no point does this site ask for bank details, payment cards or identity numbers.
Why we use it
Principally for one purpose: to reply to you. We use your data to contact you about your enquiry, to give you information on the project you asked about, to improve what we offer, and to protect the site from automated and abusive submissions. We do not use it for any other purpose without your permission.
The basis for processing
When you submit a form you are asking us to contact you, and that is the basis on which we process it. Technical data rests on the legitimate interest of keeping the site secure. You may withdraw your consent at any time on the unified number.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data, rent it, or trade in it. Your data reaches:
- Our sales team, so that your request is answered.
- The customer relationship system (Bitrix24) we use to track enquiries. It is a third-party cloud service and data held in it may be stored outside the Kingdom.
Enquiries sent from this site, and WhatsApp chats started from it, are passed to the company’s CRM together with the page they came from.
We may disclose data where a competent judicial or regulatory authority requires it, or where the law obliges us to.
Cookies
This site uses one functional cookie to manage your session and protect forms against forgery. It is necessary for the site to work and is not used for tracking.
We also use Google Analytics 4 to measure how many people visit, which pages they read, and where they arrived from. It sets analytics cookies on your device, and the data reaches Google as a third party and may be processed outside the Kingdom.
We have configured that measurement as narrowly as it allows: part of your IP address is masked, and no advertising features are switched on — no personalised advertising, no Google Signals, no advertising pixel, and no sale of data. The purpose is to see how the site performs, not to build a profile of you.
If you would rather not be measured, you can block cookies in your browser settings or install Google’s Analytics opt-out add-on. Neither affects your use of the site.
Keeping and protecting your data
Data is held on protected servers, and access is limited to those of our staff who need it to do their work. The connection to the site is fully encrypted.
We keep enquiry data for as long as is needed to answer you and manage our relationship with you, and for any period the law requires thereafter. To find out the retention period applied to your enquiry, or to ask for it to be deleted, contact us on the unified number.
Your rights
The Personal Data Protection Law gives you the right to:
- know how your data is processed — which is what this page explains.
- access the data we hold about you and obtain a copy of it.
- correct anything in it that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- have your data destroyed once it is no longer needed for the purpose it was collected for.
- withdraw your consent to processing at any time.
To exercise any of these, call the unified number 920026466. If our answer does not satisfy you, you may complain to the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), which supervises the law.
Children
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under eighteen, and we delete such data if we become aware of it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy whenever the way we work or the requirements of the law change. The date at the top of this page is the date of the latest update, and it is worth checking from time to time.
For any question about your privacy or the data we hold, call the unified number 920026466.
